Fewer Strokes, Straighter Lines
Longer blades cut more fabric per stroke, and every stroke you avoid is one less place for the line to wander. At 9.5 and 10 inches, these shears are a great choice for cutting yardage, long garment pieces, and any other large project.
The handle is bent so the lower blade rides along the table rather than lifting the fabric as you cut. Kai grinds its blades from hardened Japanese steel and finishes the edge by hand.
It's recommended to use for fabric only. Paper and adhesive dull a fine edge quickly. Compare other shears in our sewing scissors collection.
