Straight Stitching Along Raised Edges and Uneven Layers
The Pfaff Right Edge Bi-Level Foot solves a common problem: stitching a straight line next to a raised seam, zipper tape, or hemmed edge where one side of the foot sits higher than the other. The bi-level sole compensates for the height difference, keeping the foot stable and the stitch line straight. The right edge guide provides a consistent reference point for topstitching. Works with the IDT system for even fabric feeding.
Applications
- Topstitching next to zippers where the tape creates a raised edge
- Hemming along folded edges with height variation
- Edge stitching near piping, welting, or corded seams
- Any situation where one side of the foot rides higher than the other
See also the Pfaff Narrow Edge Foot for flat edge-to-edge joining.
