The Pfaff Seam Guide Foot with IDT uses a metal guide positioned at 5/8" from the center needle position to maintain consistent seam allowances while sewing. Four additional markings on the foot provide reference points for other common seam widths. The IDT system feeds both fabric layers evenly, which is especially helpful on long seam runs where layers tend to shift.
