Flat Coverstitch Hems Over Seams and Curves
The Baby Lock Serger Compensating Foot adjusts to changes in fabric thickness as you coverstitch. When the foot passes over a seam allowance or area where layers change, it compensates for the height difference to keep the stitch consistent and the hem flat. This is especially helpful on knit garments where hems cross side seams or curved edges.
