Heavy Duty Metal Frame
The heavy duty metal frame keeps the mechanisms aligned for skip-free sewing and long-lasting durability, and the stainless steel bed plate lets fabric glide as you sew. Top speed is 1,100 stitches per minute.
Heavy Fabrics and Lightweight Sheers
Adjustable presser foot pressure lets the machine sew lightweight sheers as well as heavyweight fabrics. Decrease or increase the pressure when a fabric does not feed evenly through the machine. Use it for costumes, personalized fashions, decorator pillows, and curtains.
32 Stitches and 110 Stitch Applications
Choose from 32 built-in stitches that cover 110 stitch applications. Adjust stitch length and stitch width (6 mm), and turn the stitch selector dial to pick a stitch.
One-Step Buttonhole
Place the button in the buttonhole foot and the machine sews a one-step buttonhole sized to that button, with consistent results every time. Extra-short buttonholes also work as small eyelets for weaving ribbon or cord, and a buttonhole sewn as a stitch adds surface decoration.
Built-In Needle Threader
The built-in needle threader threads the needle eye, which cuts down on eye strain and saves time. Threading by hand through a small opening is where strain and frustration build, so the threader keeps setup quick before each project. Stitch Length Dial and Top Drop-In Bobbin
The stitch length dial sets the distance between stitches. A top drop-in bobbin sits under a transparent cover so you can see your thread supply. It uses SINGER Class 15 transparent bobbins.

Four presser feet come in the box: general purpose, zipper, buttonhole, and button sewing. Accessories sit in the storage area at the front of the machine. Slide off the removable storage compartment to use the free arm for cuffs and hems.
