Strong Piercing Power for Thicker Layers
A full metal interior frame and strong piercing power keep stitching consistent from lightweight materials to thicker layers. The machine has a stainless steel bedplate, and adjustable presser foot pressure and an extra-high presser foot lifter help with bulky projects.
Speed Control Lever
Slide the speed control lever to set the maximum sewing speed, which tops out at 1,000 stitches per minute. A slower setting gives more control on corners, curves, and small projects. The reverse lever sews backward while it is held down, which secures the start and end of a seam.
32 Built-In Stitches
Choose from 32 built-in stitches, including utility, stretch, and decorative options. Stitch width reaches 6 mm and stitch length reaches 4 mm. The one-step buttonhole sizes itself to your button.
Rubberized Dial Grips
Both the stitch selector dial and stitch length dial have textured rubberized grips for comfortable control. Needle position can be set to left, center, or right for topstitching and piping.
Integrated Needle Threader
The built-in needle threader guides the thread through the needle eye and gets you sewing faster. Raise the needle to its highest position, pull the handle all the way down, and a small hook passes through the eye. It works with size 70 to 110 needles, but not wing or twin needles.
Top Drop-In Bobbin
The jam-resistant top drop-in bobbin is easy to wind and insert. A transparent bobbin and cover plate show your thread supply, so a bobbin does not run out unnoticed. It uses SINGER Class 15 transparent bobbins.
Large Sewing Space
With 6 inches or more to the right of the needle, the arm leaves room for larger projects. Slide off the accessory tray to use the free arm on sleeves and trouser hems.
4 Presser Feet and Accessories Included
