The Bernina Patchwork Foot with Guide #57 differs from Patchwork Foot #37 by adding a built-in seam guide along the right edge. This guide rests against the fabric edge as you sew, keeping your 1/4" (6 mm) or 1/8" (3 mm) seam allowances straight without constant measuring or marking.
Steady Alignment for Quilt Piecing
The right-edge guide does the positioning work for you. Simply keep the fabric edge against the guide and sew a straight line. Three side markings provide additional reference points for lining up pieces during assembly. This foot fits both 5.5 mm and 9 mm Bernina machines.
