Pfaff Accessories

Pfaff accessories fall into several categories based on what your machine needs.

Common accessory types include:

• Presser Feet: Specialty feet for quilting, hemming, piping, appliqué, free-motion work, and decorative stitching.
• Embroidery Hoops: Multiple sizes from petite 80mm square hoops to the Grand Dream Hoop at 360x350mm.

Pfaff presser feet are organized by foot group (such as Group J or Group L), which corresponds to specific machine models. Check your machine's manual or the sticker on the back of your machine for the foot group letter. Each foot listing on our site includes the compatible group. IDT stands for Integrated Dual Feed, Pfaff's built-in walking foot system. It feeds fabric evenly from the top and bottom at the same time, which prevents shifting and puckering on tricky fabrics like knits, quilting layers, or slippery materials. Many Pfaff presser feet are labeled "with IDT," meaning they work with this system engaged. Standard feet still fit on IDT machines, but the dual feed only activates with IDT-compatible feet like the Stitch-in-Ditch Foot with IDT or the Clear 1/4" Quilting Foot with IDT.

Hoop compatibility depends on your specific Pfaff embroidery machine and its maximum embroidery area. Pfaff offers hoops in a range of sizes.

Popular options include:

• Creative Petite Square Hoop (80x80mm): Small designs, monograms, and patches.
• Creative Metal Hoop (180x130mm): Mid-size projects with secure metal frame grip.
• Creative Quilter's Hoop (200x200mm): Larger quilting and embroidery designs.
• Creative Grand Dream Hoop (360x350mm): Pfaff's largest hoop for full-size designs.

Check your machine's specs for maximum hoop size before purchasing.

Some accessories cross over between Pfaff and Viking since both brands are manufactured by the same parent company (SVP Worldwide). Certain presser feet, like the Free Motion Ruler Foot, are designed for both brands. However, most presser feet, bobbins, and hoops are brand-specific and not interchangeable.
