Most current Bernina sewing machines use the Bernina rotary bobbin (sometimes called the CB or Class 15-type Bernina bobbin). These are specific to Bernina and are not interchangeable with standard Class 15 bobbins from other brands, even though they look similar. The dimensions are slightly different and using the wrong bobbin can cause tension issues. Always use genuine Bernina bobbins or bobbins specifically labeled as Bernina-compatible.

Generally no. Bernina and Bernette machines use different accessory systems. Bernina presser feet, bobbins, and hoops are designed for Bernina machines only. Bernette machines use their own accessories, and some Bernette models are compatible with standard snap-on feet from other brands. Check each product listing for specific machine compatibility before ordering.
